• Completed her residency in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Medical Centre of Hamburg

Dr Anna Agorastos holds a degree from the School of Medicine of the University of Hamburg in Germany. She subsequently specialised in Radiology/Radiodiagnostics at the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Medical Centre of Hamburg, where she also completed her PhD thesis. At the same time she served as the Clinic’s Clinical Studies Coordinator.
In 2010 she was awarded the title of Doctor of the University of Hamburg, and in 2014 she obtained the medical specialty title of Radiology and Radiodiagnostic Specialist from the Hamburg Medical Association. She later worked as a Radiologist at Radiologische Allianz, a Radiology and Radiodiagnostic Centre in Hamburg, until her return to Greece.
Dr Agorastos has been issued a licence to practise medicine both by the Hamburg Medical Association and by the Thessaloniki Medical Association, and she is a member of the German Society of Radiology and the American College of Radiology. She has also taken part in a large number of certified further education seminars and congresses, however her further education focuses on the clinical field of medical acupuncture.
In the field of acupuncture, Dr Agorastos has received further training at the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Centre (Acupuncture Certificate A) and at the Acupuncture Training Institute of Greece (Acupuncture Certificate B), and has obtained a Diploma in Medical Acupuncture with official certification as a Medical Acupuncturist from the Greek Medical Acupuncture Society in Thessaloniki.
She runs an acupuncture practice in Thessaloniki.
